The Outreach program at FHS has grown considerably over the last years and have been able to make a memorable difference to various charities.
Term 1 2011
CANSA Shavathon
On Friday 4th March and Saturday 5th March our school participated in the CANSA shavathon/sprayathon.
Almost every Fourways High learner donated money and sprayed their hair in various colours! Many staff members- including our principal and deputy principals- got involved in this wonderful intiative. Great fun was had by all!
The following day a team of Grade 12 learners shaved and sprayed hundreds of heads at Leaping Frog Shopping Centre. The pupils enthusiasm for this worthy cause was amazing! They did the school proud – by raising over R 22 000-00 over the two days!!!!!
Congratulations all Fourways High learners and Outreach participants on giving so generously of your time and for your amazing contribution to this worthy event.
