Computer Olympiad

The first round of the South African Computer Olympiad is a multiple choice Olympiad and is open to all pupils not just computer pupils.
It tests logic and problem solving ability.
There are three rounds this year.

Would you like to see if you have an aptiture in a career for IT?
All IT learners and those Grade 9 learners that want to take IT in 2013 have to participate.
However any learner may enter with Mrs L. Le Grange in C21 before 10 Feb 2012.
The top participant in EACH grade will receive a certifivcate from the Computer Talent Search.
In addition the top three participants in the school (irrespective of grade) also receive certificates.
Grade 9 learners are an especially important group. Those who do well should consider doing IT next year - or at least take subjects that will enable them to take Computer Science at tertiary level.
Grade 12 learners should participate to help them with career choices.
