Description of Activity
ATKV AFRIKAANS PUBLIC SPEAKING
Our learners participate in this prestigious event every year.
Our junior and senior teams compete in the Afrikaans First Additional Language section, against other English medium schools.
They have to deliver a prepared speech for the first round, on a prescribed theme.
This theme has sub-themes and changes every year. If they succeed in the first round, they are then entered into the second round. The second round is quite challenging as it involves the unprepared speech. Our learners achieve a great level of success in this activity.
