New Textbooks
Pre-pack Service
Fourways High School has decided to make use of the services of an outside company to supply and pack all new textbooks. We have succeeded in bargaining excellent prices for all the textbooks in order to help our parents.

The following steps will be put in place:
1. Parents complete the textbook order form, total up the amount due and send it to the school WITH PAYMENT. The completed order form with payment attached must be handed in DIRECTLY to the Finance Office who will check the totals for accuracy. Office hours: 07:00-14:30.

Please note that NO orders will be accepted WITHOUT payment.
Please make sure that you ONLY tick the books you require, as NO REFUNDS will be made.
2. The school will place the order with the supplier.
3. The supplier will pack the books and distribute it to the parents at Fourways High School on predetermined days.

Payment Methods
The following payment methods will be accepted:
Cash,
Cheque or
Credit/Debit Card.
Please note that INTERNET TRANSFERS and POST DATED cheques will NOT be accepted.

Please note that publishers close between 15 December and 15 January. If your order is late , you might have to wait for your books. To avoid any delays, we advise you to order your books before the end of November.

Secondhand Textbooks
Second hand books can no longer be ordered in advance (due to examination timetable). You can only buy second hand books on the following days from the tuck shop:
Monday, 7 December 2009 from 08:00 – 12:00
Tuesday, 8 December 2009 from 08:00 – 12:00
Wednesday, 9 December 2009 from 08:00 - 10:00
NO second hand books will be sold in 2010.

If your child has looked after his/her textbooks this year, we would like to give you credit for those textbooks. If you have any of the books on the attached list, kindly follow the instructions below:
  • Put the books in a packet, complete the attached second hand form and put it inside the packet.
  • Books will NOT be accepted if they are not in a packet.
  • Books can be handed in at the tuck shop daily between 08:00 – 12:00 as from the beginning of November 2009.
  • NO books will be accepted after 12:00 on Wednesday 2 December 2009.
  • Please bring your books as soon as possible. Books will be purchased at our discretion.
  • If there are books not on the list that you would like to donate to the school, it would be greatly appreciated by the charity to which we donate them.
